Richard Gibbs is Clinical Director of Vascular Surgery St Mary’s hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust. His principal clinical interest is in aortic work, and the vascular unit attracts national referrals for complex aortic disease, and the full range of both endovascular and open surgical repairs are offered. His research interests are focussed on computational flow simulation of Type B Aortic Dissection, and he shares a research project with Dr Hamady into stroke prevention in TEVAR’.
