Adel Ahmed Al Ali, M.D, DABR is Associate Professor at the Radiology Department, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kuwait. He did his Doctorate Degree Certificate of added qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 1996-1997.
Dr. Al Ali finished his Bachelor in Medical Science in 1986, his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1989 at Kuwait University. He did his internship at the Ministry of Public Health hospitals in 1989-1990 and finished his Residency in Radiology at the University of Miami in 1991-1995. Dr. Al Ali had his Fellowships for Body Imaging at the University of Miami in 1995, followed by Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Vermont in 1995-1996. Right after, Dr. Al Ali did his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at University of Miami in 1996-1997. He was the Head of the Vascular, Interventional Radiology Unit at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital from 1998-2003.
Since 2009 Dr. Al Ali is Interventional and Vascular Consultants at the Department of Radiology, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and the Director of Clinical Research at the Dasman Diabetes Institute since 2013.
His research interests are amputation prevention in diabetic foot, gynaecological interventions, renal artery denervation for treatment of Hypertension.
