“Dr. Alhazzani: is an Associate Professor of Neurology at College of Medicine in King Khalid University. He is currently president of Saudi Stroke Society, Vice President of MENA stroke association and general secretary of Saudi Neurology society.
His academic appointments include immediate ex Dean of College of Pharmacy and vice Dean for clinical affairs, chairman of the department of Medical Biochemistry, Head of international collaboration program in king Lhalid University he is currently a board member of national neurology scentific board and national neurology examination board.
He obtained his MB,BS with honors from King Khalid university in 2001. Finished his residency at McGill University in 2008 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physician and surgeons in Canada. He did his fellowship in Vascular neurology at Harvard University in 2009 followed by interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship in 2010, he is fellow American academy of neurology and fellow of academic leadership center at the ministry of education since 2013.
His current interest includes acute therapy of stroke, migraine and in particular relationship between stroke and migraine academic leadership and medical education. He published many articles in the field of cerebrovascular medicine in high impact journals like neurology, stroke, headache and JAMA. He is a member of many professional organizations and advisory board at a national and international levels.”
