Ali Haydar is a dual trained physician in Nephrology and in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology from the Imperial College London, UK.

Dr. Haydar obtained his FRCR in 2008 and MRCP in 2005. In 2010 Dr. Haydar was appointed consultant interventional/trauma and cross sectional Radiologist at the Royal London and St. Bart’s NHS Trust, which is the largest trauma centre in the UK and the largest teaching hospital in Europe. He holds a dual appointment at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre where he is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Moreover, he is a Clinical Associate in the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Haydar has more than 70 peer-reviewed published research papers in addition to many books chapters.

Dr Haydar is currently the treasurer of PAIRS.
