“Dr Amir Malkawi is a UK-trained consultant vascular surgeon.
Dr Amir Malkawi has recently returned to Amman Jordan after 14 years in London the United Kingdom where he trained and worked in London’s most respected & internationally recognized institutions. Dr Malkawi obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and the Fellowship of the European Board of Vascular Surgery (FEBVS). He also obtained additional endovascular training at St George’s Vascular Institute and training in advanced vascular access and renal transplantation at The Royal Free Hospital London. Dr Malkawi has also been awarded further higher degree in research from the University of London and St George’s Medical School in recognition of achievements in translational cardiovascular research.
Dr. Malkawi is currently an assistant Professor in Vascular Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Jordan and the head of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Jordan University Hospital and the National Centre for Diabetes Endocrinology and Genetics.”
