ABD EL TAWAB is currently holding the position of Interventional Radiology Consultant; Interventional Radiology Unit, Ain Shams University Hospitals, Cairo, Egypt; which is one of largest Interventional Radiology Institutes in Egypt and the Arab world providing him with 10 years of experience in various Vascular and Non Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures especially Interventional Oncology and HCC management, GIT and Biliary interventions as well as Uterine Artery Embolization for fibroids. He started the first team in Egypt and the Middle East to perform prostatic artery embolization in 2012, he is the first in Egypt and the Middle East to do Hemorrhoidal embolization in 2015 and also the first in Egypt to perform Bariatric embolization in 2016. It is worth mentioning that Dr. ABD EL TAWAB is also one of the pioneers in Egypt in emergency embolization procedures “a 24/7 service in Ain Shams University Hospitals” namely GIT bleeding, Post-Partum Hemorrhage Bronchial Embolization for management of hemoptysis, Renal artery embolization for hematuria management etc. He has given more than 70 talks and lectures in various local and international conferences.

Dr. Chamsuddin is Associate Professor of Radiology at Balamand University/Saint George University Medical Center. He is the founder and Medical Director of the Center for Laser and Interventional Surgery (CLIS) in Beirut, Lebanon.
Dr. Chamsuddin received his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 1991 followed by an internship in General Surgery and Residency in Radiology at the University of South Alabama. Following a Fellowship in Nuclear Radiology at North Shore University Medical Center/NYU School of Medicine, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Minnesota. He then joined the University of Tennessee in Memphis then became the Chief of Interventional Radiology and Director of its Fellowship Program until December 2003 when he joined Emory University as the Chief of its IR service and Director of its Fellowship Program.
In 2009 he returned to its native country where he founded CLIS and Global Teleradiology both based in Beirut. He joined Balamand University as Associate Professor of Radiology and started its Stroke Program. In 2012 he joined Quantum Medical Radiology and became the Chief of IR at Piedmont-Newton Medical Center in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Chamsuddin is Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic, Nuclear and Interventional Radiology. He is also certified by the American Board of Laser Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology, USA.
Dr. Chamsuddin has published more than 27 articles and book Chapters and is a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology as well as the Journal for Computed Body Tomography.
He is the Vice-President of PAIRS and the Chairman of its membership Committee.

Dr. AlTwalah did his Radiology Residency at the King Faisal Specialist & Research Centre (KFSH & RC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has obtained his Radiology Residency from the New England Medical Centre in Tufts University of Virginia Health Sciences Centre, USA. He also has a second fellowship in Vascular and Non-vascular Interventional Radiology at Guy’s & St. Thomas Hospital Trust, UK. In 2000, Dr. AlTwalah joined the Department of Radiology at KFSH & RC, Riyadh as a Consultant in Interventional Radiology.
In 2014, he was the Director of the Interventional Radiology Fellowship Training Program at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previous, he was the Section Head of Interventional Radiology, Department of Radiology. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals.

Mohamad Hamady graduated from medical school in 1989. Following 3 years of surgical training, he joined clinical and interventional radiology training at the American University of Beirut. He completed interventional radiology training at the King’s College, London in 2001 and he did 2 years of clinical research in IR at the Guys and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London.
Dr. Hamady joined Imperial College, London in 2003 as Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Vascular Interventional Radiology. He also works as an advisor to the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) on new interventional procedures. He is currently the vice chair of the Scientific Committee of the British Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr Hamady is the IR representative in the Clinical Innovation Team advising the clinical commissioning groups working for the National Health Service in England and Wales.
His research interests include robotic endovascular intervention and navigation, virtual reality simulation training of endovascular skills, and aortic stent grafting. He just started a research work on improving patient’s safety in IR.
Dr. Hamady has over 125 papers in peer-review journals and 12 book chapters. He has given more than 65 talks and keynote lectures in national and international scientific meetings.
He is currently developing, in collaboration with industry, a new generation of fenestrated/branched stent graft for thoracic-abdominal aneurysms.
Dr. Hamady has done the world-first robotic endovascular aortic repair in 2008 and the world-first robotic fibroid embolization in 2012.
