Wahid Tantawy is Professor of Radiodiagnosis and Interventional Radiology at the Ain Shams University, Cairo. Former Fellow of Radiology Yale university, and University of Tennessee, USA. Consultant and CEO of “Misr Radiology Center”. Chairman of the board of “Misr Magnetic Resonance Center”. Board Member of the “Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine”. Board Member of the “Councils of the Arabic and Egyptian Board Fellowships”. Examiner: Egyptian, Arabic and European Boards. President and Organizer of many courses and conferences including acting as the Chairman of the Scientific Program Committee and Secretary General of ICR2014. Prof. Tantawy supervised about 105 between master degree and doctorate degree thesis. He is shared in more than 80 paper publications and books and have held over 200 presentations in different symposia and meetings including RSNA, ECR, and ICR.

Thierry Jacques de BAERE is Head of Department of Intreventional Radiology at the Gustave Roussy, Cancer Center, Villejuif, France. He is Full time dedicated to interventional oncology since 1991.

His clinical work dedicated to minimal invasive therapy for treatment of liver, lung and kidney tumors. He has been working over 15 years in the field of percutaneous ablation of liver tumors either by direct injection, or more recently thermal destruction. He pionnierde portal vein embolization and lung radiofrequency abalation.

Dr. de BAERE has been the Chairman of Standard of Practice Committee at the CIRSE board 2007-2008, Member of the scientific committee of WCIO 2006-2008/2011-2013, ECIO 2008/2014, CIRSE 2008/2009/2013/2014, GEST 2008-2011, ECR2012- 2013 and Chairmann of the proram committee ECIO 2012/2013/2014/2015

He is reviewer Reviewer for JVIR, CVIR, Radiology, European Radiology, Eur J Cancer, J Hepatol. He has published over 200 peer reviewed publications.

Mohamed Hamed A Shaaban, MD, is Consultant of Interventional Radiology and Lecturer at Cairo University, Egypt. He is currently having excellent experience in percutaneous tumor ablation techniques ( RFA,MW,PEI,IRE) in various organs.He practiced widely cancer pain and chronic degenerative pain intervention, as well as bone augmentation. Lately, he had been trained and licensed in HIFU technology treatment of solid tumors and gynecological disorders.

Dr Shaaban is the chairman of HIFU Egypt (first private center in the Middle East and Africa practicing HIFU non-invasive ablation) and the manager of the Oncology Intervention Unit at As Salam International Hospital (JCI accredited hospital).

His area of interest is oncology intervention (embolization, ablation and pain management).
