Mohamed Shaker is a Professor of Interventional Radiology at the Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He is a founder and a member of the Dar-Alkhebra IR Center in Cairo. He is also a board member of the Egyptian Society of Liver Cancer as well as s member of the American Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE), the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society (PAIRS) and the Pan Arab Liver Transplantation Society (PALTS).
His areas of expertise are hepato-biliary interventions , vascular interventions, TIPS, Prostatic artery embolization, liver transplantation radiology and intervention.

Riad Salem, MD MBA is a Vice-Chair, Image-Guided Therapy and Chief, Interventional Radiology and Oncology in the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University, Chicago.
Dr. Salem is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He completed his radiology residency in Washington, DC and his fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Pennsylvania from where he as well obtained his Master’s in Business Administration.
Dr. Salem is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology. He has lectured internationally and published extensively on the subject of image-guided interventions and interventional oncology. Recently, he completed his term on the NCCN guidelines panel for hepatocellular carcinoma (2007-2010). His current research focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma and includes advances in minimally invasive therapies as well as imaging methodologies following locoregional treatment. He serves as co-PI of 2 international, randomised phase III trials involving locoregional therapy (radioembolisation) and sorafenib (STOP-HCC, YES-p).
Dr. Salem’s areas of interest include the use of image-guided techniques for the treatment of malignancies. These include chemoembolization, bland embolization, radioembolization, and radiofrequency and cryo/alcohol ablation.

Alban Denys is professor of Radiology and head of the interventional radiology unit at the CHUV University of Lausanne. His clinical and research activity (188 peer reviewed articles) is focused on interventional oncology and particularly in the development of new strategies for liver cancer. Dr. Denys graduated from the Paris V University he obtained his residency in Paris and Montreal University as a research fellow, where after he became fellow and staff at the Beaujon University Hospital in Paris.
Dr. Denys moved to Lausanne University where he was appointed assistant then full professor in charge of IO. He is also EBIR and fellow of the CIRSE. He serves as board member of the WCIO and is the future program head of ECIO.

Hicham Kobeiter, have been working as an Interventional Radiologist in University Hospital CHU Henri Mondor Crétei, France for the past 15 years. Since the last 6 years he is the Chief of the Vascular and Oncology Interventional Unit in the Radiology Department.
Dr. Kobeiter’s clinical and research topics are: Aortic and Aneurismal Pathology and Multimodality Image Guided Therapy. He was a dedicated Professor in Hôpital Henri Mondor, Créteil, France in 2007 till 2013. Dr. Kobeiter is also President of the French Society of Cardio-Vascular and Interventional Radiology SFICV.
