Joseph J Gemmete, M.D., received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. He thereafter obtained his medical doctor degree and completed his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and his Diagnostic Neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Vascular/Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and a Neurointerventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Gemmete has been on staff at the University of Michigan Hospital since 1999, performing both vascular/interventional and neurointerventional radiology procedures. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Vascular/Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology. He is currently a Professor in the Departments of Radiology and Neurosurgery. He has 130 peer-review publications, 12 book chapters, and has presented over 100 abstracts at national and international meetings. He is an associate editor for the Journal Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Operative Neurosurgery, and Neurovascular Imaging. He is a reviewer for multiple journals.

Raphaël Blanc is an Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist and a Deputy Head of the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology at the Rothschild Foundation Hospital since 2010.
Dr. Blanc received his MD, MSc degrees from Paris University in 2003 and did his residency in radiology at the Paris Hospital from 1998 to 2003. Dr. Blanc did his fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Henri Mondor Hospital in Creteil and has since then been working at the hospital.
His work and research interests includes: Embolisation of cerebral and medullary vascular pathologies: aneurysms, AVM, stroke, dural fistulas, tumor embolization as well as diagnostic Neuroradiology. He is involved in the development, preclinical/clinical research for new endovascular devices and is practicing as an interventional radiologist for peripheral embolization and dialysis access treatment.

Ahmed ElSerwi, MD is currently Director at the Interventional Neuroradiology Unit at Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital and Consultant at the International Medical Center and Air Forces Specialized Hospitals in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. ElSerwi started his training in interventional radiology in 2000 at Ain Shams University and had his training in interventional neuroradiology in 2003-2004 at Limoges, France. Upon his return to Cairo he joined the interventional neuroradiology team at Ain Shams University as well as other private hospitals to indulge in a full-time practice dedicated to endovascular treatment of neurovascular diseases. In 2015 Dr. ElSerwi initiated the first team in Egypt for acute ischemic stroke treatment.
