Dlovan Khoushnow, MD, FIBMS, is a radiology specialist based in Kurdistan, Iraq. He specializes in Vascular imaging (CT-Angiographic & Doppler studies), Hepatobiliary imaging as a diagnostic radiology, and image guided interventions (ultra sound and CT guided procedures).
Dr. Khoushnow obtained his MD degree from the University of Salahaddin in 1999 and FIBMS (board certification) from the Iraqi Committee of Medical Specialization in Radiology in 2009. In addition, he holds a Cardiac CT level A and B certificate and Cardiac MRI certificate.
Dr. Khoushnow has over fourteen years of experience in radiology both in the public and private sector. He has been the head of the radiology department at multiple public teaching hospitals leading the development and management of the departments. Recently, he has focused on his private clinic, DK Radiology Specialized Clinic, performinghighly sophisticated imaging guided procedures like CT guided lung, skeletal biopsies and drainage procedures under CT or ultrasound guide with a lot of non-vascular intervention procedures. He is constantly developing his skills and techniques in the field of radiology by completing numerous training courses aboard, including the UK, India, Dubai and Turkey.
