Alban Denys is professor of Radiology and head of the interventional radiology unit at the CHUV University of Lausanne. His clinical and research activity (188 peer reviewed articles) is focused on interventional oncology and particularly in the development of new strategies for liver cancer. Dr. Denys graduated from the Paris V University he obtained his residency in Paris and Montreal University as a research fellow, where after he became fellow and staff at the Beaujon University Hospital in Paris.

Dr. Denys moved to Lausanne University where he was appointed assistant then full professor in charge of IO. He is also EBIR and fellow of the CIRSE. He serves as board member of the WCIO and is the future program head of ECIO.
