Hazem Habboub received his Diploma in Medical Radio diagnosis at the University hospital of Wales in 1992. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. London, UK in 1993. He also has a Fellowship in Interventional and vascular radiology from the University of Iowa, USA in 1995. He has received Board certification in Interventional/Vascular Radiology from the American college of Radiology, USA in 1996.

Dr. Habboub also has a Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology from the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2000. He is also an Associate professor of Radiology at university of Iowa, from 1996 to 1997. He is also an Associate Professor of Radiology at Jordan University of Science and technology from 2007 until now. He was the Past-President of the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society from 2004 to 2008.

Dr. Habboub was also the Head of vascular/ interventional radiology section at King Hussein Medical center from 1995-2015. He is Chairman of Radiology Department. King Hussein Medical Center in Amman- Jordan from 2015 to 2017.
