Hossein Ghanaati is Professor of Radiology at Imam Khomeini Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Chairman of Iranian Journal of Radiology, Director of Advanced Diagnosis and Interventional Radiology Research Center, and member of scientific committee of the Neuroradiology Journal and the European Society of Radiology. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Interventional Radiology, including neurointervention, vascular and non-vascular intervention.

In addition to lecturing internationally, Prof. Ghanaati has authored and co-authored over 120 scientific articles that have been published in prestigious medical journals including CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology, American Journal of Roentgenology,European Radiology, The Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ActaRadiologica,  Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology,  Canadian Association of Radiologists Journal, Neuroradiology Journal, and Cytotherapy.
