Dr. Jean Pierre Pelage is Professor of Radiology and Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology at the Caen University and Medical Center. His education includes MD in University-Paris VI France in 1996, he was also board certificated in Radiology in the same year.
He received his MSc in Imaging Prcoessing at Compiègne University of Technology, France and his PhD degree in at the Biomedical Engineering, Compiègne University of Technology, France.
His academic appointments includes Resident (interne DES Radiodiagnostic et Imagerie Médicale), Paris, France from 1992-1996, then until 200 he was Clinical felow at the (Chef de Clinique-Assistant CCA), Hôpital Lariboisière, Paris, France.
In 2003 he was Assistant Professor of Radiology, Hôpital Lariboisière, Paris, France and Associate Professor of Radiology (MCU-PH), Hôpital Ambroise Paré, Boulogne France. In 2006, he became Professor of Radiology with tenure (PU-PH) at the University Paris Ouest.
He was Chairman of Radiology in Caen University and Medical Center in 2011 and in 2016, he became Vice Chairman at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Caen University and Medical Center, Caen.
