Jo Bhattacharya is a Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh, KSA.  Prior to this Dr. Bhattacharya worked at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, in Glasgow, UK (home of the Glasgow Coma Scale) for 19 years were he headed the UK National Vein of Galen Centre in Glasgow for many years.

He is trained in London, Newcastle and Paris.

His main interests are in the treatment of aneurysms and vascular malformations of the CNS, in paediatric neurovascular lesions and stroke, He is Scientific Advisor to Aurum Biosciences developing a novel theranostic agent for use in stroke and other applications.
