Joe El Khoury graduated as a General Physician from the St-Joseph University Medical School in Beirut in 1990, where after he pursued four years of radiology specialization at Hotel Dieu de France hospital, before moving to France where he held fellowship positions and sub-specialized in Vascular and interventional Radiology.

Dr. Khoury held the Chairman position of the Radiology Department of Rizk Hospital and the Lebanese American University Medical Center for 11 years. He is an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at LAU since 6 years and at the Lebanese University SOM since 15 years. He serves as Head of the Interventional Therapeutics Division at the LAU Medical Center.
