Majed A. Ashour, MD, DABR, RCPC, is a consultant interventional radiologist and radiology department deputy chairman, working in King Faisal Specialist Hospital (KFSH & RC), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia since 2005.  He is a Canadian and American Boards certified radiologist, who completed his radiology residency and interventional radiology fellowship training in Ottawa, Canada.

Dr. Ashour attended many leadership courses and has held many administrative and academic positions.  He had more than forty-two scientific papers, research and presentations.

He was a board member in Pan Arab Interventional Radiology (PAIRS) society and chaired the scientific committees in several societies/meetings.

He is currently a board member and vice president of the Saudi Interventional Radiology society (SIRS) and chairman of the scientific committee.
