Dr. Michael Marks is a Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and the Chief of Interventional Neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Marks received his MD from Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. .
Dr. Marks completed a Radiology residency at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center and Neuroradiology fellowship training at Stanford University Medical Center. He subsequently joined the faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he has served since 1988. .
Dr. Marks was a founding member of the Stanford Stoke Center and is currently the Director of Neuroradiology at the Stanford Stroke Center. He has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications, over 20 book chapters and has presented more than 100 invited lectures.
