Mohammad Reza Ahrabi was born and raised in Tabriz, northwest of Iran. He received his medical degree from Tabriz Medical Science University and then his speciality in Radiology at the same university. He then completed his fellowship of Interventional Neuroradiology at Cerrahpasha Medical Faculty, Istanbul University, Turkey in 2008 and 2009. He is now working as vascular interventional Radiologist and interventional neuroradiologist at Alinasab Social Security Hospital and Madani University Hospital. His professional interest focuses on carotid angioplasty and stroke intervention as well as peripheral vascular disease. In addition, he serves as consultant interventional radiologist for Tabriz medical science university and he is a member of stroke committee of university.
