Muhammad Azeemuddin is a Consultant Radiologist and an Associate Professor at the Department of Radiology Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi, Pakistan.
Dr. Azeemuddin got his initial training within the country at the Liaquat National Hospital and did his fellowship in VIR from the Singapore General Hospital in 2002. He also had mini fellowships in VIR and Neuroradiology from the Rothschild Hospital, Paris and from the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
Dr Azeemuddin has served in various capacities professionally. He has been the Director of the Radiology Residency Program and the Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program at AKUH. He served as the Head of the MRI Section for few years and is currently the Head of IR at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi.
Dr Azeemuddin is a member of several professional organizations, a founding member of the Interventional Radiology Society of Pakistan (IRSP) and a member of the Executive Council of the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR).
He is the author/ co-author of around 60 scientific papers and has delivered multiple invited talks both nationally and internationally.
His special areas of interest are Interventional Radiology and Head & Body MRI.
