Osama Yassin Mansour graduated from Alexandria University School of Medicine in 1995. He has since undertaken a number of postdoctoral fellowships and training opportunities in both Europe and in the USA.
Dr. Mansour holds a German Board Certification of Radiology with special interest in neuroradiology. He pioneered the Neurovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Unit at the Medical Insurance Hospitals in 2009 and at the First Comprehensive Stroke Center in Egypt 2011 in Alexandria governance.
Dr. Mansour has extensively published in the field of cerebrovascular disease, Stroke and neuroendovascular treatments. He is a reviewer and a member of the editorial board for a number of peer reviewed journals including Neurology, Stroke, Neuroimaging, AJNR, neuroradiology, Interventional neuroradiology, World Journal of Cardiovascular disease and the journal of Vascular Interventional Neurology. He is an associate editor of frontiers of neurology.
Dr. Mansour is the President of the Middle East North Africa Stroke and interventional neurotherapies organization (MENA-SINO).
His main interest is vascular neurology and stroke medicine and Interventional neuroradiology.
