Dr. Saher S. Sabri graduated from the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine in 2000. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Iowa in 2007 and his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the University of Virginia in 2008. Dr. Sabri holds the American board of Radiology and Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and is a board examiner for the American board of Radiology.
Dr. Sabri is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Surgery at the University of Virginia and serves as the Vice Chair of Education at the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging and as a Director of the Radiology Residency Program. Dr. Sabri received several awards including the Dean’s Award for Clinical Excellence and the Charles J. Tegtmeyer Award of Clinical Excellence at the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Sabri has more than 40 invited lectures, workshops and grand rounds, and has participated in more than 30 multicenter trials. He has authored or coauthored more than 30 peer reviewed articles, 10 book chapters and invited articles, and more than 70 abstracts.
