Zaid Husam Aldin was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex since 2010. He qualified in 1997 from Baghdad Medical School and undertook his basic surgical training at the Colchester University Hospital for three years. He was trained in all aspects of general and interventional radiology at the Imperial College Healthcare Trust. His clinical experience includes all aspects of basic and advanced interventional radiology procedures with a special focus in peripheral endovascular procedures, embolisation, venous procedures, image guided biopsies and drainages, and spinal imaging and intervention.
He authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed original scientific papers and presented numerous papers and scientific presentations and was an invited lecturer in national and international conferences.
